I Just Couldn’t Eat Something so

I’m having dinner at my auntie’s house and she’s making lasagne like my nonna makes it and I love my nonna’s lasagne.

I’m so excited I’ve been looking forward to this lasagne. I take my first bite it doesn’t taste the best. My nonna’s lasagne is beautiful, she makes her own pasta, the sauce she makes is delicious and when you slice into the layers the cheese just stretches out. My auntie’s lasagne seems dry, the sauce isn’t right and the cheese isn’t stretchy.

Thank god my cousins have a dog. I just couldn’t eat it so I kept calling the dog over and feeding her my food. No one realised what I was doing.

Animal Extinction

.Animals are becoming extinct at rates not seen since the death of dinosaurs.

.Since Europeans came to Australia 23 birds, 4 frogs and 27 mammal species have become extinct.

.One study showed that up in the Kakadu National Park 95% of the mammals that used to be there aren’t there anymore.

. Is there something more that the government should do to stop animals from being extinct?

.Should there be laws that stops people going hunting and killing animals just for fun?

.This is a big problem and we don’t want animals to become extinct. It shouldn’t just be up to the government to do something, it should also be up to us people to look after the animals and not take land and cut down trees from them. Let’s protect the animals.!!

My mum bought me one I went back half an hour later to get one for my and they had sold out. I couldn’t believe it they were gone.

My mum said to me someone is making a lot of money from this. It’s amazing how something so small can be the most popular thing around.

How would our life change if all people look the same?

Can you imagine if we all looked the same, life would be very weird, we wouldn’t be individuals because there’s nothing different about us? When we look at each other it would like looking in a mirror, seeing the same face every day.

An advantage of looking the same is that there would be no bullying about peoples features or their colour skin because we would all look the same.

It sounds good looking all the same but I still want to look like e because it’s my features and skin colour that makes me, ME.

My dad is taking me to an art gallery of sculptures, he loves art so he’s dragging me along.

We finally arrive and by the look on my face I’m not impressed. I’m wandering around and I see a sculpture that catches my eye. It’s a man walking through a wall, but his left leg and right arm are on the side of him. It’s really amazing how it’s done. A boy comes up to me and whispers “meet me here tonight, I’ll show you something amazing.”

I did meet that boy and saw something amazing, all the sculptures came to life, I saw the man walking through the wall. Is this real or fantasy?

What a great day to go to the park to play soccer. The sun is out, not a cloud in the sky. I convince my dad to take us, I get everything that we need ready and off we go.

We get to the park and there are a lot of kids, they ask my brother and I if we want to play with them. We start playing, I’m having a great time, when all of a sudden out of nowhere a bee starts buzzing around me. I’m trying to wack it away and at that moment I felt a sting on my hand, I screamed OUCH !! but how can something so tiny cause so much PAIN!!.

In this short film we see how a small crime committed can end up with a tough punishment.

It’s about two soldiers who think their life is bad with the job that they do. They decide to steal something so they can get caught and be joined with the convicts. They think the convicts have a better life.

Governor Darling had different ideas he wanted to make an example of them so he makes the punishment really tough. Seven years hard labour with chains.

Francis Forbes tells Darling that the punishment should be reduced and that he shouldn’t use the same law as they did in Britain. Darling won’t listen to him and says that the punishment will stay. One of the soldiers die because of the treatment.

WC Wentworth was the only man that stood up to say that the Governor had taken this too far and should be held responsible.

Thank god we live in better times because if you do a crime you have a lawyer defending you. The punishment given to you will suit the crime you did.
